Strong support from repeat clients and a solid draft of Ricochet sons underpinned Riddellvue Angus’ Annual Spring Bull Sale, where 20 of 26 bulls sold to a top of $8000 twice and averaged $5947.

With demand for quality sires on the rise and renewed momentum in the cattle market, Riddellvue Angus will bring 30 well-structured, paddock-ready bulls to market at its upcoming Spring Sale on Thursday 11th September.
The sale will be held on-property at Markwood in north-east Victoria, with online bidding available via AuctionsPlus. Stud principal Ian Bates says the signs are positive heading into the season. “It’s been a tough couple of years, dry conditions, high input costs; but the tide is turning,” he said.

Riddellvue Angus draws several loyal repeat buyers for bulls built for work
Riddellvue Angus secured a sizzling clearance at its autumn bull sale on Thursday as the stud’s top bulls headed to mostly repeat buyers.
More than three quarters of the bulls sold were picked up by return clients and stud principal Ian Bates, Markwood, was delighted with their backing.
